A hidden gem just a 1-hour drive from downtown Liuzhou. It looks just like Altay, but way less crowded and incredibly beautiful—highly cost-effective!
We arrived around 11 a.m., and it wasn’t too hot yet. If you can get up early, mornings are even better: soft light, few people, and every shot turns out amazing.
🚗 Getting There & Parking
Just search Fengshan Reservoir in your navigation.
The rural roads are narrow, so take care when passing other cars.
There’s a small free parking area near the reservoir entrance.
🎫 Admission: Completely free — perfect for a weekend trip.
⛺ What to Do
• The water is clear and emerald green, surrounded by small hills and flocks of sheep. Super photogenic 📸 No need to find the perfect angle—every shot looks great.
• You can camp and picnic by the shore.
• 2–3 hours is enough if you’re not camping.
• The rural and national roads on the way are also stunning. Total stress relief for office workers.
⚠️ Tips
• Bring mosquito repellent and sun protection. There are small bugs in the grass, so long pants are recommended.
• No shops or facilities here—bring your own water and snacks.
• The area is clean and well-kept! Please take all your trash with you.
